“Zoie saved my life! I know this may sound extreme but that is how I feel and how well I responded to her wise treatment plan. I am a nurse by trade so when I began having acute &intense GI symptoms this past June I was concerned. So concerned in fact that I went to the ED, which I have never done in my life! I was worked up, treated with the typical GI meds advised to f/u with GI. After numerous visits , test etc. the plan was to continue on GI meds and return if needed. I have been in good health, jog regularly and live a very active lifestyle. “Zoie has been such a blessing in my life. She is the best health care practitioner that I have every worked with. In 2022 I was feeling defeated when visiting and working with my primary care provider. I had terrible GERD that kept me up at night and had hypertension. Her only suggestion was to take pharmaceuticals. She put me on one medication for hypertension and we were not seeing the results she wanted, so she put me on another medication, plus the medication for GERD. “I’ve always believed that finding the root cause of health challenges as well as treating the whole person, body, soul and spirit is important. But that doesn’t always occur with conventional medical care. In 2006, after years of failure at controlling my weight and doctors who offered no other workable alternative- I reluctantly had Gastric bypass surgery. I had lost 164 pounds and for a while things were great. I overcame a lot of physical, emotional and spiritual issues. Life was full of action and playing with 7 grandkids. Life was fun, along with teaching Bible study, entertaining friends, crafting, sewing, gardening and playing golf…not to mention full time wife, cook and housekeeper.
