UpCurrentFM providers, Zoie Phillips, MSPA, PA-C, IFMCP, AFMC and Edit Zelkind, PA-C, IFMCP, AFMC, are Certified Physician Assistants. They are dual certified in Functional Medicine via the prestigious Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM). Zoie and Edit are life-long-learners and avid researchers, as they know that staying up-to-date is critical in this ever-evolving field. In order to keep their minds sharp, Zoie and Edit attend regular Functional Medicine webinars, consume peer-reviewed medical journals, facilitate Functional Medicine workshops for SAFM, and lead Functional Medicine discussions for IFM.
PREPARATION
Your provider will devote significant time before every visit to prepare for your time together. You can feel confident knowing that your provider has reviewed your test results in advance, and in extreme detail. Your provider will have spent at least the length of the scheduled visit “connecting the dots” and building a preliminary, personalized plan, taking into consideration your lifestyle, finances, and preferences. After the visit is over, your provider will finalize this plan which will be available to you within 48 hours of the visit.
